In the words of Marcy Playground,
"yeah momma this surely is a dream."
I've been quite busy the past year. Look back later for projects that include my illustration skills (StarTribune Are You Local Campaign) branding (Big Turn Music Fest) and an updated logo section. If you're interested in hiring for freelance, i'd be happy to send over examples of these works at any point. Cheers.
First off, you're going to dive straight into my work.
Here's how my portfolio is laid out.
Included are 6 projects that show my versatility in solving brand's problems for today's media. My clients have ranged from a local bluegrass bands to a global supplier of elevator parts.
Following that, there's a section showcasing a small portion of the work I did while I was interning in Helsinki, Finland at a branding agency called "BOND." There will be more about that when you get there.
First up is THE PROGRESS EDITION...
The Progress Edition is a three part series showcasing the People Places and Things to Note in the Red Wing (Minnesota) Area.
The aim for the 2016 Progress Edition was to re-imagine how we tell locals (who may think they know everyone / everything) about their community in a new way. Too often when we live in a place for a long period of time, we forget about what makes that place one-of-a-kind. Is it the people? The place? The things? The identity was born with this thought in mind.

It was necessary to create a minimal cohesive visual language that, at first, hits you on a elementary level. The simple icons and primary colors, are something we all learn growing up. As related to someones community, once we start mixing people with places and places with things, our experiences become richer, and in turn, creates a deeper connection.

This Duluth based band has stories of travels, daring adventures, lost loves and whiskey benders. They will not disappoint your local tavern. Plan on getting a ride home.

Located in Welch, Minnesota about 45 miles southeast from the twin cities. The client wanted a season (Winter 2013 - 2014) of videos that would build their brand message and showcase all that Welch has to offer.

While working as the Media/Marketing assistant, I worked on the branding for the "2013-2014" videos. I came up with the slogan "Experience a Village" which played as a major part in our marketing materials for the season.

Guy Ritchie's 2005 film "Revolver" is a movie that will forever play out in my mind. This series was created with this simple quote in mind...
“Beauty is a Destructive angel, how does anything that looks so good, be so bad?” – Revolver.
I was lucky enough to take an internship at BOND over a 3 month stint from August - October 2014. They taught me all about Finnish form & function, branding and how to reach an audience the most direct way. Oh yeah and how to seriously drink coffee.
Below are OK'd projects to show while working abroad.
